The fully vitrified Royale line of French dinnerware has beautiful lines. The raised pattern decorates the rim, as well as highlights the center of the plate. The rim is wide (2" for the charger) and the overall plate is almost flat with a soft slope. The 12 1/4" charger rises only 3/8" from the table. Fired twice, all pieces are guaranteed to be first quality. Plates have a soft, rounded but distinct glazed foot. The Royale line of French dinnerware is broiler proof, shock resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe. It can retain a wide range of temperatures from hot to cold. With a shock resistance of up to 800 lbs. and perfect whiteness, Royale French dinnerware is part of a lineage of chinaware more than 250 years old.
