The fully vitrified Europa line of French dinnerware has a wide rim (2" for the charger) with embossed lines, which rise and meet at the edge of the plate and all around. The edge of the plate rises only 3\4" from the table. The base of the charger has a rounded all glazed ring as a footer while the plates have a glazed distinct foot. Fired twice, all pieces are guaranteed to be first quality. The Europa line of French dinnerware is broiler proof, shock resistant, microwave and dishwasher safe. It can retain a wide range of temperatures from hot to cold. With a shock resistance of up to 800 lbs. and perfect whiteness, Europa French dinnerware is part of a lineage of chinaware more than 250 years old.
